Simchat Torah is quickly approaching and soon the UWS will be filled with thousands of singles seeking their soulmates. After participating in this mating ritual for nearly fifteen years, I can say with confidence that Simchat Torah on the UWS is an amazing opportunity to further your search for that special person. There are scores of new people to meet who might fit your criteria for a match, and there are hundreds more who might know someone who is.
It sounds easy, right? Then why do so few people actually succeed at finding their perfect match? Why are there so many singles (we’re talking thousands) who really want to meet that special someone, but just can’t seem to do it, no matter how hard, or for how long, they try?
There isn’t one answer that can be applied to singles as a group. Each individual has their own unique reasons and issues that prevent them from accomplishing what they truly desire. Many of these relate to unrealistic expectations, fear of commitment, self esteem, or an unrealistic view of themselves and the world around them.
I’m writing from personal experience. I struggled with these issues in various forms, and watched how others did too. I succeeded.
Now I’d like to use my real life experience, combined with my rabbinic training and network of contacts, to help others work through their issues and succeed in finding their soulmate. It’s a combination of coaching, counseling, and a bit of matchmaking (when appropriate). I also deal with other issues, unrelated to singles and relationships. My new website, www.arniesinger.com has more details.
Please spread the word to anyone you know who you think could benefit from speaking with me.
May we all be blessed with a Simchat Torah filled with true happiness and fulfillment.
